Building the Box – Amphibious Quadcopter

After building and testing my lunch box quad I found a few flaws. The water tight integrity just wasn’t reliable. The motor booms were in the water and needed to be raised. The spacing of the motors was disproportionate (too stumpy) causing it to be a bit pitchy. Enjoy the video and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Also, if you build one I’d love to see a picture of what you come up with. Jake

I’ve been working towards this copter and finally got everything working perfect. A couple weeks ago I received a private message on Flitetest.com complimenting the aluminum H-copter build. It was from a Man named Mike at BGCAviation.org. He has put together a awesome program to help kids at local fields and Boy & Girls clubs. Mike is an awesome guy who’s truly been blessed to help these kids learn about flying. Mike asked if I would be willing to build him two H-Copters for the kids. In return he sent me two brand new FlipHD video recorders. He has motivated me to start what I call FleshPilot.com. I called my friend who is the director of a boys home down in the Coachella valley www.thefathersheartranch.org. He said that the kids would love to have me come out and teach about Jesus and flying. So I built the website and started designing and testing another H-copter...
